The PESCO Secretariat, and the PM2 Alliance, under the auspices of the European Security and Defence College (ESDC), and in cooperation with the Jean Monnet Chair “PM2 by European Commission: Open, free and common project management framework for all European institutions, companies and citizens”, Professor Germán Martínez Montes, of the University of Granada (UGR), have the honour of co-organising a Pilot Course on Project Management in support of PESCO Projects, using the European Commission's Methodology, namely the PM2
The PM²-PgM programme management guide (the original in English) in the EU Library of the Publications Office. The artefacts (templates used by project managers to effectively manage their work on projects) will soon be available via the online PM² portal.
The PM2 methodology allows the use of a language and a way of managing projects common to all EU member states. The Ministry of Defence participates and leads projects in collaboration with other allies, for which having a common tool developed by the European Commission itself can be an advantage in terms of efficiency and operability.
The PM² Centre of Excellence (CoEPM²) is pleased to announce, with the support of ISA², the availability of the PM² Guide and Artefacts in Spanish.
Since January 2021, the Spanish translation of the PM² Guide Version 3.0 developed by the European Commission is available.
